Richard Mass

Richard Mass is a lawyer based in New York with a lifelong passion for art. Growing up, he frequently visited the city's museums and spent his early years drawing and painting. At Williams College, he immersed himself in art history and studio art courses, further deepening his artistic interests. Later, while studying at Stanford Law School, Richard developed a strong interest in art law and intellectual property.

Today, Richard practices intellectual property and commercial law, representing a diverse range of clients, including technology, advertising, entertainment, and media companies, as well as creative professionals.

When the pandemic hit, Richard began taking long walks around his Tribeca neighborhood, where he initially captured the hauntingly quiet streets through photography. As life returned to normal, he continued his street photography, discovering new abstract beauty in the architecture and urban landscape of New York City.
